... and said "hello
" to a 2002 Suzuki SV650S
All I can say is - TORQUE MONSTER! My good friend traded this in for a 2004 Meanstreak last night, and I went up today and traded in my Ninja for it. Damn, this thing is fun. It sounds exactly like a Ducati, and is no where near as loud as my 500 (which is a good thing)
Leave me some love
All that TQ...........look at its exhaust system and you'll see why its all TQ haha!
Awesome bike though. I know many people ride through the northern GA hills with that bike because of its impressive low speed TQ curve. Plus you just came from a lame 500. Good job on the purchase man! Stay safe.

GOD DAMMIT I WANNA BIKE MOTHER @!#$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice bike... I really like them with the lower fairing kit... I just bought a 92 Suzuki Katana to learn to ride on.. hopefully by the end of the summer I can have something better.
thanks for the compliments, guys. I found this picture today:
I took this about 6 months ago. It's like a changing of the guard, I guess.
I also had it out last night for a while, and this thing is ridiculous! When you crack it open in 2nd your ass nearly slides off the seat. Also, just when you start to get impressed by the low-end power, you swing the tach needle past 7 and it's a whole new level. I have never ridden a bike with so much off-the-line power combined with so much top-end power. My friend's 1999 ZX7R was a monster in the top end (when I cracked it open in 3rd, it felt like my arms were gonna be ripped off the handlebars), but it was no more powerful down low than my 500. And cruisers have tremendous grunt, but run out of breath very quickly. If you can't tell, I'm excited
The best part is, I traded my 500 straight-up for this. My loan increased by $90, and that was to cover new registration, title transfer, etc. The bike only has 4300 miles, and I know who's been riding it for the year and a half. I would be stupid not to do it.
SVs KICK ASS!!!
I would so buy one, my lead foot (or hand in this case) would get me killed on a sport bike
Congrats on a great addition!
................Which car will hit 400 whp first???................
That is a bad ass color. Nice pick up.
Have a good one,
Justin
Why would one choose the SV ove ra Gixxer, or vice versa? What is the fundamental difference?
A torquey, low-rev engine VS a high hp, high-rev engine?
---
^ the SV is a V-twin, while a GSX-R is an inline-4. So, yes, it's torque vs. top-end. I mean, my bike scoots at the top also, but the redline is a little over 11K, whereas a gixxer redlines at - well, you know, you have a 636. Also, an SV is a more upright riding position than a gixxer. Personally, I like going on 2 or 3 hour rides, so I couldn't use a full race bike for that reason alone. Plus, most of my riding is in-town and through traffic, so the low and mid-range power suits my needs more. But, it's all about your preference.
So, I got some new pictures. Here they are:
Here's me with my buddy Jeff's chopper. It's a 100CI RevTech motor with a 250 rear tire, and that's about all I know, other than it's loud
Here's me with my buddy Mark's Meanstreak. He traded the SV for that bike, and now I have it. It, also, is ridiculously loud. It has a Hard Krome exhaust and Power Commander.
Well, I can guarantee that I'll have more pictures soon, so keep looking.
I thought so when I noticed it was a Vtwin. Cool bike. I also love the color.

Plus naked bikes look better too
................Which car will hit 400 whp first???................
^ at least i'm not the only one that thinks so
I wish I woulda bought a naked bike, but NO I got my claws stuck into a Sport Touring bike...ah well its still fun as hell to ride, now I just need to find more people that don't just take laps around town and actually go out in the Country and down the interstate to ride with
if it ain't broke...MAKE IT GO FASTER
