pulleys? LT1 camaro

well to start off, i have an 97 LT1 camaro that i just picked up a few months ago, so i'm still new to the performance modding on it. right now i have an SLP loudmouth catback and K&N intake.

i found someone selling an "auto specialty perf crank pulley/with belt" for $60 in my area, and this brings up a few questions.

1. is it worth it on an almost stock car?
2. how it makes more performance
3. which one is best to get?

heres a link to the pulleys on LMPerformance, http://www.lmperformance.com/c/6/2.html would the one that i mentioned being sold be the cheap $80 one? and which one would be the best for the money, me being slightly on the cheap side lol

I'm not sure how well the pulley does on the F-body's. I know it helps but i'm not sure how much. If you are looking for the best bang for your buck for bolt ons. Just save the money and buy a set of headers. Headers on it are going to help SOOO much. If you're an auto a shift kit and or high stall torque converter would be much better off then a pulley.

I'm not saying the pulley wont help and I know the other mods are more expensive but they are WAY more HP to the wheels then the pulley. Save the dough and go for the good bolt ons.

Since you have exhaust headers would definately be your best bet. You'll love the sound and feel of them.
