Started disassembling the GTO

Reasons to find out what needs to be repaired and what is not salvageable

Picked up some new carpet today since the current one is moldy in places has red over spray for some reason and is just plain old

We have the new radiator in it already form a few weeks ago.

Core support on the car is trash, some obviously welded a new section on it at one point not sure what thr number 4 is all about lol (good thing the core support is a bolt in piece in these old A-bodies)

I want to replace the hood due to it needing alot of body work here and there

the frotn valance that we've had on the car is junk its a repro that doesn't fit for crap. We picked up a orginal valance from a swap meet a few years ago but it needs alot of TLC (no one makes a metal repro valance for the 68s only 69

Front endura bumper may need to be replaced. (it needs some filling here and there but what has me worried is the metal tabs that are part of the bumper appears to be rusting real good. Good news is I can get a brand new urethene repro for $425 if need be

Well I picked up some new parts I just need to get some other parts for those parts lol

Damn thats going to be amazing when its finished. You've got quite the involving project ahead, but I can't wait to see it finished! Keep us posted with LOTS of pics!
