GT-R will be sold in U.S. with Nissan badge
Wednesday, April 12, 2006 10:31 AM
Nissan Motor Co. will sell the high-performance GT-R sports car as a Nissan in the United States, not an Infiniti. The car is due in the United States in 2008, about a year after a redesigned version goes on sale in Japan in fall 2007. And if you don't know which car it is... .

Looks like butt IMO. Its a shame Nissan decided to throw out the old car completely.
It will however be nice to actually get them here in the states. Any word on the drive train yet? I'd heard rumors of a twin turboed V-6 with AWD and ones that say a V-8 and rear wheel only. Anything definite yet?

I guess that looks kinda like, maybe but not really, if you look at it the right way, like the old ones. Its like a flatter Infinity G35. It better be fast though, and AWD.

Yeah but as I've said before fast don't fix ugly. The rear is fine but the front looks horrible!
I mean damn the headlights go to almost the top of the wheel arch. I'm just not feeling it at all.

That car is ugly as hell and doesnt deserve the GT-R badge......too rounded of an ass end and the headlights = puke....im a huge fan of R32's and R33's and the R34's are great also but this 35 doesnt deserve the Skyline badge.

It would take a LOT of fast to fix that ugly.

I'm glad they're doing that. No way does that need an Infiniti badge. And I love the way it looks. I'm gonna buy 2.

I don't know if I like the front end? Looks kinda strange, but the back looks awesome. Not worth the estimated $60K+ price tag though. It is supposed to be around 420hp from what I read last month.

It looks like its face is melting off..... Don't like the fake C6 scoops on the side either... Non of that says skyline. The rear is sexy though.
