Monte Carlo Help
Tuesday, April 11, 2006 12:57 AM
My buddy is wanting to make his 2002 Monte Carlo 3.4 Liter V6 a little more fun to drive. I suggested an intake and exhaust. Well on the exhaust I'm not sure what size to go with. I assume because it's a 6 cylinder that 2.5" piping would be a good choice. Thoughts? Also, the catalytic converter I'm thinking a Magnaflow # 43006. It's 2.5" in/out. My friend is wanting a dual exhaust setup though, so I'm wondering if they make converters with one inlet and two smaller outlets. Like 2.5" in and 2" out?

tell your friend to get a custom exhaust setup done. most shops will charge around $150-$200 if he provides the muffler(s).
