About a month ago I posted about a vehicle 30 grand or less. I passed by the Toyota dealership today and saw 4 of the new one's on the lot. After doing some research on the web the fully loaded with the V6 runs right at 30,000. Practical, dependable, over 250hp and IMO a nice new look. I figure a 2" drop and a nice set of wheels to go with the factory bodykit and I'd have a nice looking car. But.........is it worth the 30,000 dollar sticker price? After all it is just a camary.

Kinda how I feel. For 30k, you can do better.
30k for a camary
gawt dam that is high
you could get a G6 gtp for less
but the Camry(not camary) holds its value.
wait about 6 months and get one barely used.

^^^ Ya wait 6 months and since it holds its value so well your still paying almost the same as new.
You can't go wrong with a toyota. Ya its more expensive but damn they sure know how to make a car. My dad has a tacoma and he beats on that thing like crazy. And it still runs great.

true, but the initial depreciation will have hit it already, and it'll have a better warranty. 6 years/100k miles is FAR better than that of the new cars.

i think it be awesome, 30k is alot though but the new camrys are soooooooo @!#$in nice!
The new Camrys are real nice, but 30k? Is that even the hybrid? thats a lot of dough for a camry
I'd love to see it dropped and rimmed though.
give it a rim job! BAHAHAHAAH
No it's not a hybrid but I think the V6 still gets 34 highway. Im still iffy about what it will take to "fix" any problems that these hybrids might have. Im sure they can be fixed at any dealership at dealership costs!!!!

but buying it used will save you all the dealer fees, freight, gas and A/C tax, ect.

We have yet to pay dealer fees, freight, gas, etc on ANY new car we have bought.
The new Camrys are a better car...IMO...than the G6. Plus it will hold it's value better! $30K is not bad for a decked out one. I love the SE model....

30K seems a bit high, if i was buying a camry it would be a base for gettin the kids around
if i was gonna go fully loaded and possibly some mods, i would go with a G6 gtp
i like the G6 alot more. the front end on the camry is ugly
I like the new Camrys...actually I've been a fan of the Camry for a while now as my bestfriend's mother has a 2002 Camry LE that I go cruisin' in from time to time. I would have to take the Camry over the G6 (sedan) unless I'm able to get that body kit that was featured on the yellow (?) G6 sedan that was posted pack a few weeks ago.
However thanks to Tribals (and posting that delicious picture of the 2007 Toyota Camry SE) I have a new car (4 cylinder) that is going on my list potential vehicles that I will look at as my next car later in the year.
go G6, they're all very nice, no matter what the model varient.
