I've been jabbin at my pops to bring home my favorite sportscar, if I could have any car in the world this would be it only black.

He surprised me and brought it home today. I miss my RWD my C4 can't even be called a corvette compared to this thing it is a BEAST. I hit the gas wide open in second all the way through third and into fourth and it was an incredible rush. Im a big lemans sportscar racing fan and I felt like a factory GM racer racing the C6-R down a backstraight. The ls7 is such an amazing powerplant. The car was so incredibly easy to use in around town traffic, as easy to drive as all of the C5's I've driven.

Felt great to drive my dream car, and a RWD again. ( The new Camaro is my next ride however so I'll return soon!)

I can only dream of owning such a machine, but to be driving a usa built sportscar that you know can take out many of italian supercars is such a rush it's hard not to look for ferraris!! LOL I can only dream...

That'd be surprising if my parents knew yours. They work for GM also and we just got the exact same car. She had to get it shipped from detroit though. Mom also relocated to Flint (back in 04) to work at the facilities right there off the highway (the reason why I bring this up). They sent out a newsletter that only a selected few employees will bring those cars home and she knew most of the people on the list. Ok but whatever.....haha

My dad is head of GM Accessories for the western region. He's working out of thousand oaks now however he's not in Michigan any longer.

This is a car they bring to alot of events/shows and just let it sit there, hence the goofy windshield banner! LOL

Still can't believe this car, not to often you get to drive you dream car! Sounds funny I know but im a vette fanatic always have been and this is THE BEST of the best of corvettes it's performance is earthshaking.

Maybe after someone loans my @ss 70k I can have one for myself!

That thing is pure beautiful. I too am a huge Corvette fanatic so I can understand your excitement. My friend actually let me drive his mom's 96 Vette. I almost passed out because I was so excited. That thing got up and went like no other, I could only imagine how that thing goes
