I'm currently looking for a new/used car and was thinking about the 300zx. Has anyone here had one or have one. Going to be giving up the J to my brother and I'm looking for an early to mid 90's tuner car.
check you insurance before you go any farther, cause you probably won't be going any farther than that
I would think insurance would be up there...
Also keep in mind these cars have been around now for quite some time. Finding one untouched in good shape will be very hard. They will certainly make a good platform, but most of them have been ripped up and rebuilt. Be careful...
Yanno, you can find a used 03 350Z with decent mileage for under 20K right now. Work on it and twin turbo that thing...im thinkin of doing that with my 03 350Z. Then again the 300ZX is a different animal altogether...IF you buy a turbo one u will want ur mechanic to get it checked....oh and yeah your insurance will go up a LOT from a cavi....i went from 120/month for my cav Z24 to 240 for my 350Z. ughhh good luck!
