My fiancee sent me this picture friday from campus.
Theres a ticket on the windshield she guessed it was because he has a freshman parking pass and he was parked next to her in the Sr. Parking Lot.
FRESHMAN??????
This thing is beautiful
Although it might be daddys, he has a Freshman parking sticker which means he lives at school. Its not a pass that you just hang in the window..you put it on the rear most part of the side windows....And its permanent untill you scrape it off...
Although its a SUNY School (State University of New York) there are alot of rich kids that go there....Theres a fair share of ricers but alot of kids have nicely done up cars, Lots of 350z's, BMW's, High end Caddy's and those of the likes...
i love seeing nice cars at school. when i was in high school all the kids had nicer cars than the teachers
it dosent matter who paid for the car, its who drives the car

Real cars don't make power at the front wheels......
THEY LIFT THEM !!!

I prefer to earn stuff, but if I had rich parents I think I'd gladly take a Z06.

I agree, I would be much more satisfied if I earned a Z06 myself. Of course if my parents were rich it would still be nice driving a Z06 no matter who bought it.
ever think that maybe the kid earned it somehow?
earned it like I earned my laptop? lol "get at least 80% average and I'll buy you a <insert item here>". After that talk, I yanked my marks up from 50% to 79.8%.

Considering hes prolly 17-19 no i dont think he earned it..
I have a friend who at 19 years of age earned a 350z....you never truly know....liklihood is he didn't, but don't rule it out

Agreed. I bought my civic and Jeep and the parts on em. It is no vette but it is possible...
I go to IUP, school of about 15,000 in the middle of bumblef*ck PA. Search it; Indiana, PA.
Anywho...there are a few nice cars floating around here. Some cars I've seen on campus included:
E55 AMG
SRT-4 w/ Mopar Stage II Kit
A plethra of crotch rockets
A few new GTI's
STi
EVO
Just today at my soon to be house out on one of the main roads I saw:
Viper
2 Hot Rods (wish I knew what they were)
Bunch of custom choppers
New STi
As for the Vette, nice car. Seems to just be a normal Vette without the Z51 package. But it does have shiny wheels!
But nice car none-the-less.
And you can't rule out that they didn't purchase it themselves. But it's most likely doubtful.
im 19 and could easily purchase a 350z. However i am out of school, work fulltime, and i have a very nice job...
On top of all that...a vette base price is a little more expensive than a Z. And thats without the dealer markup...
I'm 19 and can't even go premium!!
..not to mention insurance on that for a 19 yr old would be high (and in a college town)
also, did anyone say that its possible that its an older student ("non-traditional")
that is entirely possible but
1. Older students typically dont live on campus
2. and older student going back to school typically couldnt afford a car like that...
Not that its not possible..just unlikely

haha yeah well its all about choices. My friends decided to go to college. I went for a year just to please my mom and didnt like it so i went back to work. Im doing something that I love more than anything else and couldnt be happier. Plus i started out making more money than alot of my firneds with 4 year degrees. 3 of which has degree in architecture, and One who has a masters in some ceramic engineering degree. its all about what you want to do.
Haha, I'm only kidding...but...not far off.
I don't think I could find the kind of work where I live that would be profitable to me. Maybe way way back in the day (before the 80's even happened), but nothing now-a-days that would be of any interest. In the long run, people with the college degree will earn more and get higher in life...IMO. Not saying it couldn't happen. My dad works for an electrical company and says the line men for the company (the guys who put the lines through the tele poles, etc) make around $100,000 and most don't have a college degree. It all depends on what you're interested in.
Thats what im interested in....
And eventually id like to do that..im waiting on an apprenticeship.(I do line work for verizon now) professionals make way more that 100,000 but typicall utility linemen make alot. My step dad is a 1st class lineman, 15 years and he made 130k last year.
I used to belive all that @!#$ about people with college degrees making more, and typically they are right because most people without a degree work low end jobs...but a job like i have, ill do great without a degree...better than most with one. Granted my buddy with a Masters is gunna make more money than me someday but he says hell never get over 100 Grand a year. My other friends will never make that much...
My buddies sister is out of Notre Dame, working somewhere in Indiana, but lives in a nice ass apartment in Chicago, right on the lake. Anyway, she is like 23 or 24 and is making somewhere around 60-65 grand as a chemical engineer...and she is just starting, 1st year.
And who knows what the hell I'm going to do with my degree...Geeze...Sports Administration
hey two of my friends did that..one changed to business administration and the other one lives with his parents...
lol soo..good luck...
I look at it this way...you have to do whatever makes you happy...
Bah, it's not even a z06....
Damn nice car. I'd take it if it were free I'd actually take any car for free. Too bad that's never happened before I've worked for everything I've have.

Ha, thanks for the great outlook!! With my major I get a minor in Business Administration, all in 120 credits!!!! I'm also interested in Nutrition and Ditetics, so maybe I can squeeze that in there somehow...I'm sure I won't have trouble finding a job, my University is pretty good in getting people out in the real world. Hey, we are the only state school to offer an honors college!
