AMC = American Motor Company (jeeps, Javelins, etc.)
Deloreans = DMC, Delorean Motor Company
And technically, those are DMC-12's
Duh, my bad, i hit the wrong letter.
the and and d has a letter in between. Shame Shame.
I still say the front of those cars look like crap. The flux capacitor wasn't even an option you had to custom do that mod, sure beats the hell out of a turbo tho

^^^^ rofl
I'd buy one just to be retro
ugliest pacer, i've ever seen, but the best looking garth-mobile
Damn I want one of those but I'd drop a different motor in though something with some balls to throw you in the seat.
its funny alot of people confused the DMC logo , with AMC
it was the odd way they did the D
garth mobile rocks
Remember on the Wedding Singer when Drew Barrymore's boyfriend pulls up to the bar to pick her up after she got sick, and he is driving a DeLorean and has the Miami Vice theme song crankin?
that was awesome
Rob
Sold 2/2/05
The Deloreans looking f-ing sweet when painted any color just because its different from what you are used to
I'd take one for the simple fact that nobody has one around here and I think they're f-in awesome. What other car hits 88mph and takes you to whatever time you want?

Meh...
DeLorean DMC-12's were crap. Really bad crap.
- Electric Locks.. no manual back up, and you couldn't reach outside the door with the key to unlock yourself when the battery eventually died every 4 months because:
- The alternator was shyte.
- WAY underpowered Renault engine.
- Flimsy mono-cocque composite pan.
- CRAP gas tube shocks that wouldn't hold the gull-doors upright, so you would get clunked on the head by a remarkably heavy door when they started to wear out a bit.
- Pissant construction all around (poor body gaps).
- Fingerprints would literally BAKE onto the stainless steel skin
- Rear engine meant a little extra room in the cabin, but not enough to put the single-guy's golf bag in there... unless you liked to kiss the steering wheel.
And finally:
- NO COKE IN THE DAMNED CARS!!!!
