I took some pics of the tC on a couple trips to North Carolina..Car is a little dirty because these were taken during road trips, enjoy...................
This one was last weekend across from Cape Lookout in NC
Same with the next two
Here is one at the Bodie Island Lighthouse
Another one at Currituck Beach Lighthouse in the oBX
I f"in love your car, looks very nice that red looks phenominal on the TC. Nice pictures.
Appreciate the kind words as always
Im torn about what to do next to the car. I had thought about getting that spoiler that jnight has (the Ion Redline one), pumping up the stereo or doing an intake -header to it. Still not sure.

Car already looks pimp, I'd get the intake/header
Haha! i hear ya
Im not sure if i want it to be any louder though. Thats the issue i am weighing in my head, i drive out of town ALOT, and I know that the loud exhaust gets annoying on a long trip
I'd say make a sleeper outta that
I'd never expect a car like that to be anything near fast.
Thanks, i think
Car is already pretty quick actually, not sure if i have the money or the want to boost it up

am i crazy? but the numbers i've read show that it's juat as fast and torquey as the Z24? is that about right?

Umm yeah. I can say the "ass" dyno says that my tc is faster than my 00 Z24 Convertable. In fact, i beleive the numbers say 160 hp and 163 tq on the tC
i also say intake/header and just do an exhaust too
just get a good resonator so its not loud
cant wait to see the car in 2 weeks! lol
oh yeah, and you too haha
yes im aware that sounded kinda gay
The lighthouse picture looks really good.
Love your tC man. Not a huge fan of red vehicles but the car in general is great looking. Looking forward to see what kind of upgrades you have planned for it.
Have a good one,
Justin
Nautica, if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for your car and what options did you choose for it? You can PM me. I'm looking at getting one of those. I have the options I chose
here.
looks great, other than the grill, i would have kept the scion emblem
I live in NC now, shoulda stopped by

Actually, the grill came like that, as it was part of the tC Release Series PAckage they had.
Paul, I live in VA Beach now, clear on the other side as you , otherwise i would have
Love the TC. Did you climb the Curituck Light House? That is alot of steps. I went to the Outer Banks last year. Its nice and peaceful during the off season.
New sig in the works
Nice! That makes me wish I would have went with the RS package... I guess I could always trade
I think I'll wait to see just how nice the RS 2.0 looks
Didn't the pedestal spoiler come standard on the RS1.0? Could have sworn it did......
I love your car, their still pretty rare around here.

I used to think the same thing, until I saw my car's friggin' EXACT TWIN on the way to work one morning.
They're like cockroahces around here. They're flippin everywhere!!
I'm the new cancer.
Looks great...the contrast of the red with the black and white lighthouse compliments each other nicely in that one pic.
the light house pics are sweet , you shoulda got a pic from the light house looking down at your car , that woulda been sweet
car looks good , for stock
the tc's ive seen at the track here have been slower than my best of 16.0 na , i even raced a 5spd , and it wasnt a real contest
there is 1 with the trd s/c and from what i remember his best was a 14.9
ive only seen a tc at the track here a few times , and that is all im going off , and we are at 1200ft , wether those times were driver , weather , altitude , or all i cant really say
Thanks for the compliments
The other day i was actually driving next to my twin in Norfolk
I wasnt able to go in the lighthouses to take pics that would have been cool
The pedestal spolier did not come stock, i was gonna get it but with painiting the dealer was trying to charge me something like 600 bucks for it, so i said thanks but no thanks

Wanna compare who's car has more options and will be worth more 3-5 years after it was purchased (new)
j/j
I dont care if the tC isn't running high 14's or low 15's (though I have read about some stock one's doing so... I'll post my times in May when I go to Orlando). My tC is so much more refined than my cavalier ever could have been. Plus, when I go to sell it in 3 years, it's pretty much guaranteed to be worth closer to it's original value than had I bought a new cobalt, tiburon, mazda 3, etc.
