Needs alot of work, it will be a great project though. I've wanted one of those for years. Make sure to keep a fire extinguisher with you just incase the engine catches fire. Good find!
either an ls1 or a 13bt will be going in.

Now that i've read the post about the new LS7 block....screw the LS1. Go with that instead.
yeowch...she needs WORK. might as well get a better one with no motor, and sell that one in pieces - you'd make the amount you spent on it, at least.
by the way, i love the wheels.
where are some engine bay pics?
That'll be a fun project car.

i'll post some engine pics tomorrow. it's a great and fun car. she's gonna be set up for drag and drift, so alot of the interior is gonna be out, just the basics are gonna be in there.

don't bother dragging it if you don't swap in a V8. it'll be slow and break often if you leave a rotary in there.
i know this a little too well, i'm afraid.
Yeah Chris, a little spit shine wouldnt hurt!
And I already told you about the 88 RX-7 that went into my station that had a small block chevy in it!
that poor thing needs a lot more than a spit shine.

I would definately gut the interior and throw a roll cage in if your going to drift, which is what I would do. Save a lot of headaches and money that way...
Drag racing doesn't do much for me...
Although keeping it rotary would be great, the old wankels are way to unreliable. Whatever you do, just make it fast. Good luck...

technically, the 13B(non turbo) is pretty reliable. it's when you start boosting it without countering for the whole overheating problem that the motor starts to die.
