From Road & Track, April 06:
Finally starting to look promising for the Supra..
i actually like the supra, and agree about the nsx.

it's not how fast you go, it's how you get there that counts.
ZZP XP cam, 1.6 rockers, 105# springs, speedbuilt FWI, 3.3" modular pulley, TOG headers,
3" exhaust, flomatched injectors
'97 GTP 14.06@100.6mph pre cam w/ 3.5" pulley, I/E

Um, not really feelin' either of them. Its like we are trying to live out the movie iRobot with those cars. I dunno, they might grow on me, but I agree, the NSX is sorta timeless. But that Supra is just a odd. Almost reminds me of an Aston Martin in a "sorta late, should go to bed" kinda way.

NSX looks like a crossfire.
the supra looks like it has a fish front end attached to an s2k rear......and that nsx is just down right nasty looking....
The supra looks like it's smiling, but it's alright. The NSX looks horrible although the body lines sort of remind me of an Aston Martin with the exception of the front.
it looks like the nsk is geeting sun in its eyes and is squinting to see.

The silver one looks like a Saturn Sky

I'd definitly rock the Supra
I like the supra.. it looks good IMO, though it seems more or less unchanged from the concepts we've seen ages ago.
The NSX looks too concept car.. I wouldn't expect it too actualy look anything like that when it hits production. The article even says it's a "best guess". What I don't like is how the the NSX which was a pseudo exotic sports car that was often being compared to real exotics (Ferarris and Lambos) if for nothing else than it's looks is being replaced with what sounds like essentially an Aston Martin wannbe.
From the sounds of things the NSX replacement is becoming less of a car you'd put on a poster (slightly ridiculous, impractical and immature) to a mature, stylish, GT car. It's becoming less a car that a 12 year old might dream about and more a car that a 50 year old might buy.

meee too. I'll take one in blue.
Those pictures of the Supra look 100000000000000x better than the ones that were posted a couple months ago.
Have a good one,
Justin
Ok Mercutio Teske!!
Anyway, the Supra doesn't look bad, I hope it does well. The NSX kinda looks like a modified TL from the front and I don't think it would be a good idea for two engine options. We'll see.
BTW I like both if this ever comes to be legit.

Well it sounds like yota/lexus are finally going to step up to the plate and get serious about making some sportier cars within the next yr or so.
both: FUGLY
and if its not mid engined it should not be called an nsx. that is sacrilege
