Warhawk® LS7X Engine Block
NEW WARHAWK® LSX ENGINE
BLOCK FROM WORLD PRODUCTS
Starting with the goal to improve upon GM’s LS7 and C5R racing blocks, World’s design and engineering team —with input from leading racers— has designed the “ultimate” engine block for GM’s popular LS-series engines...the Warhawk® LS7X. It’s made of rugged 3357-T6 aluminum alloy, and equipped with both late LS1 and standard small block Chevy mounts so it’s a bolt-in for any 1958 and later Chevrolet.

The block has been designed with a priority main oil system so the lubricant goes to the bearings first and the top-end last. It has a C5R-style bottom end with billet steel main caps, plus 200,000 PSI ARP® main studs. And when it comes to displacement, the Warhawk® can accommodate a 4.250" stroke crank. Combine this with a bore of up to 4.125" and you get a whopping 454 c.i.d.

Those who run high combustion pressures (superchargers and nitrous) will appreciate the provisions for two extra head studs per cylinder. World’s new LS7X heads can likewise accommodate the extra head studs. And to prevent “ballooning” of the sleeve when pressure is applied, the Warhawk® has .100" dry sleeves backed by .300" aluminum. That’s almost 50% more than a C5R block.

Warhawk® LS7X blocks will accommodate all standard GM LS-series components. They’re available in 9.240" or 9.800" deck heights, and priced some 35% lower than GM’s C5R race blocks!

it and it has to make you better.......it has to.......

mmmm....might have to make use of that sumbitch in my boss' Ultima that we're throwing twin ball bearing Turbonetics T61 (i think) turbos onto. @!#$ is gonna make over 1100HP on a LS6 C5-R styled motor...I can only imagine what that would do for it.

I used to race cars, now I race myself.

The way how GM designed the LS7 it is (almost) maxed out. This is very interesting!
