Just got an email from saturn:

And the dream is within reach ... pricing for the SKY will begin at $23,690.2

From concept to completion, designers and engineers have paid close attention to detail with the use of premium materials such as chrome finishes and top-stitched fabrics. With loads of standard features and an array of available options, SKY represents a great value for the price.

Here are the details on optional equipment available on the SKY.

Premium Trim Package - Leather seat inserts, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, stainless steel pedal covers and metallic-finish sill plates.

The all-new Saturn SKY represents motion, innovation and individuality. From the minds of dreamers, SKY embodies the essence of Saturn. You deserve to love what you drive.

not sure if any of that is truely 'NEW' info or not, but there you go anyway...

My Saturn dealership called me on Wed. They're having a 'sky viewing' on Sat. only. I'm hyped. I get to finally see this car in person! I'll be sure to bring my camera.

make sure you got a condom on before you go look at it

you dont need to have a accidental wet spot showing while your looking at it

LOL.. I'll get to sit in it as well.. I'll be sure to pack a couple pairs of underwear before I go! lol

They've already sold all Sky's here, and it's not even out yet.. Not that I was actually looking to buy one, just not practical for me. Love to rent one for a weekend though!

Tracking this car is the fun part. I thought it felt a little more stable then the Solstice, as if the Sky felt more like a C5 Corvette in the cockpit. Both still fall just a little short of the MX-5. One thing I did not like was the painted plastic area where the shifter is located, it looked down-market when new and horrible after it did not survive press test drivers from all over the country either. That was my only gripe on the whole car.
I would so take it, but just like the Solstice... Mallet needs to get under the bonnet first.

I just wanna go to the dealership and be a prick about it...

'So... does this come with an LS2 or something?'
'Yes.... Yes it does'
'...'
'...'
'Are you serious?'
'Yeah... 10K option...'
'Badass'

LS1's never blow up;

Well, I saw it yesterday.. OMFG.. It was red in color! The car looks better in person than the pictures, if you can believe that.. I want one soooo bad. But it's just not practical for me right now.. I'm hoping eventually rental car places around here will snag one.. Would be awesome to rent one for a week.. The tires look huge! and wide too..
