Does anyone here know anything about these cars. There is one that has been parked in a driveway near my school for over 5 years...and I was thinking about picking it up if i could...any info on how they drive?
great cars.. fun to drive.. lil slot but respond great to a few mods..
the only prob is that aftermarket is not heavy on this for exterior, but lots of potential on engine.

A kid in high school had one. '80 or '81 I think. I liked riding around in it, the thing was a blast to drive. I'd say buy it, shove an SR20DET in it from a Silvia and go smoke some Mustangs. Or do a Chevy 350/700R4 swap. That seems t obe a popular swap for old Datsuns.

However, the 350/700R4 swap is EXTREMELY expensive.
The Gm parts you can get for cheap, but the conversion parts cost alot.
My g/f had an 86 300zx (close enough I guess) and I loved that thing. It talked to you when you got in the car.
