Has anyone else seen these commericals yet for the new GTI's?! OMG they are hilarious. If you have seen them you will know what I'm talking about. For those of you who havent, they pretty much mock "Pimp My Ride" looking rice cars. While also playing on some stereotypes too. Pretty bold move to make for a car directed toward younger buyers, but I like it! Maybe some of these kids will grow out of the F&F stages now.

a guy up the street from me bought one of the new gti's w/ the black in the front, and it moves pretty good. i told him he needed one of them 'fast; things, and he said he wishes he could get one

My buddy is a graphic design major and him and a bunch of his classmates drove down to Miami a few weeks ago to go to gallerys and do artsy stuff and such. Well when we first saw the new GTi commercials, he was like "Holy sh** we saw that in Miami. I actually held it in my hand"
I want one as well. They're awesome little fu**ers.

I think that they are called phantoms, I want one myself as tehy do look pretty cool. I could send you a "FAST" DVD though if you wanted one. But you could probably go to your show room and get one too.

i just got back from the vw dealership like 15 minutes ago...i think im gettin a gti..
but anyways, the salesman said, when you buy a gti, you get a fast with it. VW sends it to you in the mail a couple weeks after you get your car.
^^^ yeah, we had parts looking into it... Vw corpeate said you have to buy a new GTI to a get a fast, there is no other way and they are gonna do what they can to keep it that way
If I had a VW, I would definitely buy one of those fast. I love those commercials.

we have the AB Motorsports division at wokr, there 3 of us that part of it, modding cars as well as regular everyday dealership work. We get new cars and a budget.... we've done a bunch of GTI's.... we have a red 6-speed in the show room now that the black plastic ground affects were sanded smooth and painted to match, with tinted windows, on black 19"s and lowered on H&R's. We did another one with the DSG trans with the full H&R coilover setup, stock wheels on Nitto tires, and chipped. We lower alot of them with 19"s then some random other upgrades here andthere. We did a black brand new passat on silver 20"s lowered with tint, that was sweet.
by the way if a customer ever asks.... avoid Eibach like the plague... they drop the front about 1/2" and raise the rear about an inch and half.... looks retarded, go with the H&R's. We've ordered some Nuespeed springs but haven't installed them yet.
