This is an intro to my friend's ongoing car project. At first, he wanted it to be only a show car, but after he hit a truck in it he decided to build the motor, and will be changing the entire look of the car, THANK GOD. Before you guys even get to the pics, I will be the first to say that the car is ricetacular, but it will be pretty quick once it is done. Any way, here are some pics of the car:
I am in the process of building a b18b for it, and once it is done, It will be turbocharged, with a garret t3/t4 set up. He just dropped the head off at my house, a little earlier. It looks pretty rough, but nothing is damaged, and he got the entire motor for $200, so you can not really beat that. Anyways, here are some before pics of the head, I will post some affter pics when I am done poliching it in a few days:
The entire valvetrain will be replaced with skunk2 pieces. Any and all comments welcome, good or bad.

I don't think the car looks that bad. I've seen a lot worse del slo's for sure.

yeah me 2, there's one around here thats all kitted up and he go's back and fourth between rice transitions all the time, differnce is his car can't get out of its own way.
rice? i wouldn't think so .the car looks pretty good actually in my honest opinion. rice is the 92 civiv that drives around here with cut springs, stock steelies, huge aluminum wing and huge ass muffler wich don't sound too bad but look horrible

I am not saying it is rice because it has a kit, first off he has the loudest worst sounding exhaust I have ever heard, he just took off a huge aluminum wing that could almost clear the roof of his car, and the bodywork was done so s**tty that you can see all the bolts holding the pieces on. The guy did not even run all of the bolts through the rear bumper to hold it on, instead he just molded it together. But Zach doesn't care about the qualityof the work, as long as it looks "good". Oh and I am not talking s**t, I have called this car rice every day since the first time I have met him, and I tell him that to his face.

I posted the car here, because it is a project, and I wanted to share it to see what everyone thought. I don't like the way the car looks, deal with it. I like clean looking cars, and in my opinion he could have gone with a much better looking kit. But it is not my car, so it is not my choice. He is going to be changing the car's look entirely, because the front end is entirely f**ked up, and after it is done it will be a sleek fun to drive little car, I was just showing everyone the starting point to begin with. You guys need to get off my back about the rice comment, it is my opinion and I am entitled to it.
