what is the difference and please explain?
I keep seeing these descriptions with like 300zx, and supras.. someone told me but I forget... thanks

BPU = Basic Performance Upgrade
APU = Advanced Performance Upgrade
An example of a BPU might be adding an aftermarket air intake system.
An example of an APU might be adding turbo to a (originally) non-turbo car,
and/or adding a fuel management system.
The terms are used rather loosely, but typically any performance upgrade that is a bolt-on procedure using common tools is considered a BPU. When advanced mechanical knowledge and/or tools are required for the upgrade, it becomes an APU.
