The engine is wicked. The whole care is clean, but the 2nd gen is my least favorite.
I am parial to second gen's my good friend has an 81 Z28, we call the blue dragon, and he lets me drive it all the time. It is the most fun car I have ever driven, just because of the kind of attention it gets, and the sort of things that people will do when they see it. It is good times at gas stations as well!! People ask so many questions about it, it is great, plus I think the 81 Z28 is so sexy (my dad's first car)!!!

I am partial to 1st and 2nd gens.....wonder why?!
I wish mine was that clean though. I had a guy offer to buy mine at a local gas station a few years back.....couldn't do it though.
I hate those hoods.
The car is nice however. I had a 78 when I was 15. I learned how to pull dents and do body work. But I never drove it on the street. It needed a lot of work and my dad sold it and picked me up an 82 Z28 that was in good working order.

i finished my resto on my 79 formula about to years ago. squeezed a 455 olds in her. i will post pics this summer. both maros look good, but i still like the stock look.
maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow....... but some day
That cowl is rediculously huge, but i like it, gives it a cartoonish feel
