I was wandering if anyone on this site has had any experiences with the Lincoln Ls's.
I am considering getting one, a 2002-2004 model year.
Just wandering, if anyone knows, how the quality is and what not? and various other things.
It is a tough call with this car though, I am also considering these:
02-03 Jag S Type
02-03 Jag X Type
99-01 BMW 740iL and the 740i
99-01 Cadillac Escalade (dont like the newer body style)
I think that about covers it.
I am leaning towards the cars right now, only because they are cheaper to buy Wheels for (escalade I would need atleast 24" (EXPENSIVE))
Any opinions from the car GURUs here?

I own a 2000 LS. Being the first model year, it had some problems. Before buying mine, I did some research on the car and found out the major problems the LS will have. One thing that WILL happen in the 00 LS is that the valve cover gaskets will leak oil into the spark plugs causing the coil to burn out. This can get a bit spendy if all 8 need to be replaced. The price will range between $150 - $200 per coil. That's not taking into account the labor for the replacement of the valve cover gaskets. Luckily, I had my mechanic look at the car before I bought it and he pointed out that the gaskets were starting to leak. I took this problem into account when I negotiated the price of the car. There are other little annoying things like the door handles breaking (plastic), rear window motors going out, ball joint, etc.
I know you said that you were looking for an 02 - 04 LS but they will have the same coil problem as well. All in all though, you definitely get a lot of car for your money.
Oh yeah, I forgot to add that mine is the V8.
Hey, don't get discouraged. Other than the main problem with the coils going out, this is one heck of a car for the money. I would definitely suggest going with the LS.

I'm buying an M3 from a friend of mine and would like to sell this first.
I was considering a LS, but a V6 because they came in stick. Ya they are nice, and look crazy with a set of 20s, but I dunno, I changed my mind when I saw the interior and the fact that tehyre discontinused. The interiors seem a little bland to me.
I decided on the Cadilac CTS, its a lot smaller then the cars youre looking at though. But liek I said I wanted something in stick.
Our of the cars you've listed I like the 7 series the most, that in black with some 22s would look insane, and its a bimmer! Also hwo do you feel about a Chrysler 300 with a Hemi? Theyre very decently priced used. And can fit 22s as well.
Another truck to look at I woudl suggest the Cadilac SRX, its pretty nice too.

I was just at lincoln's website.....it doesnt look like the LS is discontinued.
And ya, if i got the 7 series it would be 22's but Bmw's are expensive to fix. (more so than Jag.)
I didnt really look at the 300's all to much, it seems like on every block i see atleast 3 or 4...but nice car none the less.
And the SRX.....uhhh....just dont like the body at all.....plus even the used ones i cant really afford to buy and modify.
