i bet he can dance well with that kinda footwork
"Rear wheel drive cars are always fun to drive."
Yes they are!
that translator was cracking me up.
and the guy is all over the place.
But the camera footage is good.
When I test tracked a 05 S2000 last year, I felt so-so on the engine performance, the engine refinement was mediocre, which shocked me from Honda. But overall chassis tune was superbly engineered.

i like watching the guy heel/toe when downshifting. If i could only drive like that.
if you drive a manual... you should be driving like that (heel/toe) if youre not... youre just doing it wrong. its not difficult..
I can drive like that using heel/toe. Its not as hard as it looks and you'll get a lot quicker response too.
The translator is funny, specially when the S2000 is coming around the blue car, and you just hear the calmest voice "hey, what are you doin?", LOL
define driving like that (heel/toe)
It would be interesting to see what that drivers' hair looked like after that test run, especially seeing how fast he was going. Whether the speedo was in Km/H or MPH it was pretty fast.
I was wondering that . . . With how fast those numbers were jumping, I think it was in km/H. Unless that S2000 is like 1300hp and has a top speed of like 300mph, LOL
That's really cool! I can't wait to try it, but my car is like 1/2 mile away and I won't drive it tonight, so how possible is it to do in our cars? Easy? Hard?
heel toe downshifting isnt hard but it takes some practice on a cavalier. The pedal heights are too far apart. If the gas pedal was slightly higher it wouldnt be so bad. My engine is a little slow to rev as well which makes it more difficult to do quick and smooth.
The S2000 is probably the most forgiving car I have driven. Its a dream. it corners awesome. I was tailing my buddy's dad who was in a Lambo Murcielago and we were going all out on a 2 lane windy highway(STUPID!!). I stayed with him on all the corners, he dropped me on the straights especially since I kept it down to 120 and he hit 140 in a 55, but cornering it did surprisingly well.
Drifting is a piece of cake in this car. It is so easy to control...just roll the throttle a little on the corner and it will slide. Correcting is painless too.
Probably my favorite part though is the shift throw. You can shift by only moving your wrist. The throw is ony a few inches and the feel is very tight. For the money you cant beat this car.
We had a Z06as well, which was amazing but the s2000 is amost more fun for perfecting your driving. Its very forgiving and not so easy to get in over your head.
