Exhaust Thoughts

I just wanted to know what you guys thought of this idea and how it would sound. I have a 2000 Ford Explorer AWD with a 5.0 V8 and it sounds like a pussy. I dont want some loud obscene exhaust or something. I just wanted a nice sound when the RPM's went up a bit.

So my idea was to run dual exhaust with stock mustang mufflers. They idle real quiet, have a good sounds, and seem to open up when you get on it. I want to run it to where to chrom tips come out the back about 2" from the bumper so its not noticeable, but if you look it looks good.

Do you think that would just be a horrible idea? Any better ideas or thoughts? I'm getting the 2 mufflers free BTW. My buddy just but flowmasters on his mustang so I got his old. Almost brand new mustang though.

Thanks ahead of time.

Seriously. I had the stock exhaust on my Camaro and it sounded like a gay little baby.

After I put on the Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-back, it sounded alot meaner... it's quiet down low and then when you open it up it screams.

Try something simple like a new muffler... that could work wonders.
