I finally beat through my 2nd tank of gas (premium sucks) and realized that my MPGs suck lol i milked out my last tank to see what i get. I got 24 mpg mostly city driving. I didnt know the 1.8t sucks so much for gas i guess it doesnt help that i have an auto as well

I get around the same with my S/C'd 2.4l, my car runs extremely rich though.
my eclipse gets around 21 city.. but thats what its rated at.
My 1.8T gets about 31 MPG on the highway and 25 MPG city. Not too bad I think. My dad's automatic 1.8T gets about 22 MPG city.

What the hell are you crying about. I get an average of like 16mpg in my Explorer. Freakin gas hog.
24 in the city is pretty good
My Turbo V6 Buick regal gets 11MPG

cant wait till my tax return cause uncle sam is going to pay for my chip, 3 inch exhaust, and my intake....after that i should see times close to high to mid 13s even with an auto or thats what every one on vwvortex says in any case it will be ass tons faster

Check your air sensor mabey? Clean your injectors, sparkplugs... stuff liek that
i get about 16-20mpg in my cavy in the city. but, i live in traffic capitol USA, baton rouge, LA
I got 11.3 on the last tank now that the tailgate is back on. before I was getting around 10.
I went to see my parents before Christmas and got 40

Mid 15's... best time was 15.56.
But keep in mind, that 40mpg was a once in a lifetime thing; 3.5 hours with cruise set at 110km/h on a cold day and little traffic. Still though, I was impressed.

Yeah I average right around 215 per tank with all the city driving i do.

Thats pretty much what i get for the most part.
my cav sucks in the city....maybe 17-22
on the highway i get around 40mpg tho it's great
