This is why heat seeking technology exists. Also how many bad guys are zipping around it the Iraqie desert in a Lotus ? I'd be willing to bet none. Its cool but clearly staged. If he were hunting the car for real all he need do is sit back a little and push a button.

no, i bet he was trying, but the hellfire missile is not useful at that close range, too hard to get target acquisition at point blank range. now if that helicopter was a half mile out, the lotus would be toast, if the pilot was allowed to use guns, the car would be in shreds

Notice in the vid he says its hard for the radar to pick it up becasue of the black plastic body. I dont know. JUst pointing that out.
And today I spotted one of those on the road. It was orange. The driver was a lady I'm guessing to be in her late 50s.

but the host is retarded when it comes to military helicopters, the hellfire missile is laser guided, radar has nothing to do with it, furthermore, the laser is controlled by the copilot, its human controlled, it will automatically follow a target when one is selected, but if you can't track the target the laser won't lock on
other errors he said is that the apache holds 12 missiles...., while technically correct it can hold 12 missiles, usualy it holds 8 missiles, thats one missile rack of 4 missiles per wing, however you can drop the rocket pods off and load an extra 2 racks of missiles for a total of 16, or you can remove all missile racks and put on four 19 shot rocket pods, or any combo of rocket pods and hellfire missile racks up to a total of 4 peices of ordinance, such as, 3 rocket pods, one hellfire launcher, 3 launchers and one rocket pod, 2 and 2, 4 rockets, 4 launchers
