ok so i'm looking at 3rd gens..iroc's actually,,,,,so where the t-top bar is in the interior, their's a counter...of sorts..it says service engine,celebration,business....can somebody clarify what this is excactly..and what does celebration mean??????????? i don't understand..
It's just called a roof console. They weren't very rare in the 80's, however, finding one with a working flashlight that is intact is rare. They came with a sunglass pocket, 2 dials for maintenance and anything else, and a collectible flashlight.
I do believe the words rotate. You can pick things like "celebration" and "business". Basically the one on top is used for next time you need to change your oil, you dial it in, and if you have a meeting or something, you turn the dial to business and put in the time of the meeting. Celebration is probably to remember somebody's birthday.
It's kind of a neat little feature. It is very primitive though, not very technologically advanced.
