Pics of the new ride!
Thursday, January 05, 2006 7:15 AM
I figured I'd post some pics of the new ride. I've had her for a week, and already have 300 miles (turned 300 this morning on the way to work). I love it so far. HUGE step up from the cavalier.

Crappy pictures at best, but oh well... If whoever stole my camera in Cancun would return it, I would have better ones. Blame them.

It's the Flint Mica.

I have the DC Sports Strut bar sitting in the living room right now, and the TRD springs on the way. I wont do anything else until the other cavy is where I want it.

It took ya a week to put on 300 miles?? lol. My sis bought an 05 Corolla on a Friday and by Monday it had over 300 miles. But that's b/c she went up to Wisco that weekend. My bike on the the other hand, well from middle of May (when I bought it) to end of riding season, I only put like 112x miles on it. Just didn't have time to ride

I can't see the pics Stupid CD/SD is like that at times with my laptop. Dunno if it's Mozilla's fault or what.

bah... $2950 from TRD sparks... and it's still too much $$ for 40 HP...

I need to get the ~250 hp cavalier first

of course, some trunk room is sacrificed
very nice car tho

keep in mind that 40hpr is a huge percent against your stock hpr. and that 40is prob at the wheels. they also might have that underrated too. marin8r- we are always in the same friggin columns...funny.

I haven't got to test the backseat... yet (did you read that sweetie... what's the hold-up?)

The s/c puts up a 20% increase based on the stock HP of 160, which equates out to $75 per 1 HP increase.

It's not terrible, especially considering it allows you to maintain the factory warranty. There is also a prototype intercooler kit out there that is rumored to be released eventually (operative words are rumored and eventually).

I just don't have the $$$ for that right now, and I want to get the other cav running, boosted, and looking nice again before I even thing about boosting the tC.
