k so i have a rental 2005 2.0SX. Automatic.
So i put it on my gtech which has been very consistent on my other cars (including using it while running down a 1/4mile track)
so even if the gtech is off a bit....what gives. this is what i got on 5 runs.
Average of all 5 runs:
0-60 11.65 seconds
1/4 mile 18.65 seconds.
Isnt this incredibly low for a 150hp car? it has 20,000kms on it. and ya i gtech'd it because i couldnt beleive how slow it felt.
i thought these cars were alot faster.
what gives? is dodge over rating their cars or something for Hp?

The SX has 130 hp, not 150... and yes, they are turds. I drove them all summer(rental company).

all neons after 00 are single over heads
only dual is the srt
there was a neon sxt auto it ran 18's here in phx
A guy from work used to call it the SX 2.suck.
Sad thing is, we had 2 5spds.... they feel even slower than the autos.

I raced one in my cavalier that had a header/full exhuast/ intake/5sp
I only won by a carlength and I run a 15.2 1/4

Yes you are correct it was in the Neon R/T
i was refering to the 00-up neons
i know the 95-99 had a dohc motor
