wow those are crazy numbers with the mods that are listed, 25 hp gain from an intake on the first vid. not to shnaby.

How can a car that is rated at 205HP from the factory, pull out a 250HP with only an exhaust?
Something seems fishy.
By the way, I thought that red line on the screen when the Saturn Redline was getting dyno'd was very cheesy.

The 06 SS/SC intakes have a different part number from the ones in the 05's. Alot of the 06's have been dynoing at a base of 220whp as compared to the base dyno of an 05 which is average of 197whp. The last one that made 250 was an 06 with a cat-back so I guess it is possible.
that 270 whp in the other thread was done on a stock 06 so anyone with an 05 may not reach those numbers without an intake
the 250hp pull was done in 3rd gear...
the other two car dynoed in 3rd and 4th in the vid (according to the dyno sheets comments) and dynoed 6-10 hp more in 3rd than in 4th.
even 240 at the wheels though is still pretty impressive.
I test drove a 06 ss/sc and I wasn't impressed. Maybe I drove a turd.

A lot of things go into the 1/4 time, not just the hp number.

srt-4 had this same problem in the first few years the older they got into production the better the engines got i rember them saying the srt-4 in 03 was only 220hp not there pushing 240-250 hp

and your car should be making around what 190ish whp? yet you are mid-14's... so the extra 30 hp they have should put them into the 13's in a heavier car?
OMG, that makes me just wanna stop my engine project right now and buy one of those ughh.
