Why do you doubt the Camaro? It looks legit plus a run of the vin will tell you and I don't think a Chevy dealer is gonna lie knowingly about a car it has.
The rims COULD be magnesium OR chrome. Not both. well at least according to my computer at work. The magneseium wheels would be a goldish bronze color.
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
The camaro appears to be a regular SS with a stripe package and badges. The real ones had the anniversary stitched in the headrest and also had the black and brushed aluminum wheels. The vette appears to be a true Z06 i see the vent in front of the rear wheels and also the 'z06' in the gauge cluster. The magnesium wheels were a 5 star design and were a dark tannish color i believe. Those are just plain chrome Z06 wheels.
^^ damn he beat me to it. lol
see thats exactly what i thought i new that SS was fake and i know the mag wheels are off color and they were not an option on the Z06
Here's how dumb some of the listings are...
"1988" Firebird
That's more like a 98
And I've gotta say, I'm very dis-appointed in that site
The ONLY 85-90 Firebird of any type was an 89 TTA - no way in hell that I could afford that
, but what I really want is an 87-90 GTA
haha. Not that I have money for it anyhow...
Well as for the SS I'd want a better pic of the interior before I said it was fake. Those
ARE factory stripes for a SS so it is possible.
And they are right about the wheels on the Vette the magnesium ones are only 5 spokes.

the biggest thing you are all missing on the SS is that a real anniversary edition had a soild color body not 2 tone like the rest that car is clearly 2 tone like mine and as for the interior it is to lite becuase the anniversary had a 2 tone interior which was graphite and slate with embroided headrest

You are correct, the 35th's came with graphite interior and a color matched roof. Also like i said above the wheels are different also. that is NOT an anniversary
yeah i even called them and they told me it was a real anniversary car. mine is an 02 but its not an anniversary car it has the plaque on the dask and thats it
From the that one pic of the Camaro---It's real. Where the embroiding belongs there is a shade. So it is hard to tell.
As for the Z06's Chrome magnesium. The chrome is "plated"--- as in "chrome plated wheel"

Like I said run the VIN and then you will know till then your just guessing.

x2 But you'll have to call them for the VIN, it's not online, that I can find anyway.

I stand corrected, it is a fake. As in in the package. But all 2002 Camaros were 35th anniversary.
As for why not aluminum? Magnesium is lighter and stronger but more expensive.
Magnesium> Aluminum

Like Mr. Goodwrench already said, ALL 2002's
are "35th Anniversary" Camaro's. However, not all of them are "35th Anniversary EDITION" Camaro's. So is this Camaro a 35th Anniversay? Yes. Is this Camaro a 35th Anniversary *Special Edition*? No.
Problem solved, 'nuff said

Amen man.
I love my Camaro to death but after riding in an 89 Trans Am, I love them much better.
I like the styling of the Camaro better, but I would love to have a GTA, Fully optioned, with a Digital Dash.
I think if I ever run into extra money, that will be my next 3rd gen.
my friend has digital dash, give me analog any day.

Only F-Body I've had yet was a 3rd Gen. I did get a ride in my buddies 4th Gen Firebird tho. His was 3.4 Auto, loud mid-bass & tweeters w/ no subs
It wasn't too bad, but I dunno if I'd actually want one. I was stuck in the "backseat" tho, not up front.
Mine on the other hand, was an 87 base w/ 2.8L auto, just under 67K miles when I got it (I think 69K when I got rid of it a year later). Black, pretty good condition w/ just usual stuff wrong, at best. IE lil surface rust above/near the rear wheelwell (driver side), the worn cloth on the driver seat, tires & suspension were kinda old/worn. Oh yea, I had it from 02-03. Got a HUGE 10.5-11.5 avg MPG's too
That's why I got rid of it (for an 87 Pathfinder that dropped the trans after two months, then got the Cav). I have that thing that almost all Vette owners get after selling their Vettes, and some other sports/muscle car people get too. That lil thing is called "Sellers Remorse" - and it's been buggin' me for like 3 years now :/ That's why I want to get another one - but this time a GTA - and build the hell outta it, and of course have a DD with decent MPG's
Borsty, the digital is really that bad??
And to think that I was gonna look for one that had it...
