It is BAD ASS but is better be for $1,250,000.00 dollers american but 0 - 200 mph according to the tests that happens in 16.7 sec.

It says all over the place that this is a W16, yet I look at the pictures and see a V16. I recall reading that it was a twinc crank engine but that would sitll make it a bi-crank V16 right? That is just two straight 8's sitting side by side.
I really can't imaging would you could do to these cars ot make them faster. If you had a set of turbo headers made and converted to a single larger turbo on each side it would give it made power... or even two turbo headers where one wraps around and did a single HUGE turbo like a T101.

Even with it's hefty price tag Bugatti is still losing tons of money on each car the only reason it exists is because they wanted to prove that it can be done (1000 BHP, 400 KPH + top speed production car) it's basically a concept car that you can buy.
This car is really fast as was already mentioned. According to the guys on Top Gear you can line it up with a Mclaren F1 (the previous fastest production car) let the Mclaren get to 120 MPH before setting off in the Bugatti and it will beat the Mclaren to 200 MPH. The car isn't only about strait line speed Jeremy Clarkson (Top Gear) mentioned that it handled like a big Lotus Elise.

wow....this car is old news...It is very fast though
All brown eye was saying was yes that car is fast...but its not fast enough to do 0-200 in 10 seconds....He wasnt knocking the car he was jjust saying its not fast enough to do that...
which is what the original posted claimed it did...
I thought the FXX wasn't a street car. And thats where the most expensive price tag comes in. If the FXX is aloud on the street then Car &Driver are wrong and i appoligize for reporting mis-information that they supplied.
