6 cyl ECOTEC?????

ok so i was on e bay looking at stuff for my car. and put in ECOTEC it came up with some parts for a 6 cyl ECOTEC motor. anyone know about these? do they exsist?

they are pretty much the standard v6

its been talked about a few times, I think peoplpe said it was just a normal gm v6 with the eco badges on, only sold in europe.

Australia and Europe has the "Ecotec" moniker on some of them.

It could be a OHV 3800 V6 series 2 or 3.0L-3.2L DOHC found on Saturn LS or Caddy Catera or older CTS. And no it has zero relation to the I-4s found here. It is just marketing.

this is off a holden VS series Commodore. i am currently talking to a dealership in australia about getting a pair of them for myself ( then removing the V6 portion ).

When the saturn Vue came out it had the ECOTEC V6 in it.

^^Yes. But Saturn called it: Saturn Twin Cam 24V 3.0L V6.
