Good lord.

If it's not network news, it's probably the truth getting out.

Some people are like slinkies: Not really good for anything,
but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them
down a flight of stairs.

In terms of valve and cylinder count (32-valve V8), it's the same as a Northstar, but that's where the similarities end.

Northstar motors are 32-valve DOHC engines. Two cams in each head, and a mile of chains to run them.

These are conversion heads that bolt directly on to standard pushrod V8 motors. A standard V8 has 2 pushrods per cylinder...one for intake and one for exhaust. These heads use some kind of lever and gear system to use each pushrod to actuate 2 valves each. In the case of most of the heads, conventional intake and exhaust manifolds/headers can be used, the same cams and lifters can be used, though I think it requires custom length pushrods. I could be wrong on that though. In the end, a bolt on conversion to 32 valves...can't beat that.

I just think it's an awesome conversion that can make MAJOR power gains on those motors. Expensive, but worth it.
