I forgot how much I liked the show. There was one episode with Phil Collins guest starring. He was driving a Lamborghini Jalpa. Very rare, very cool looking car back in the 1980's. Unfortunately, by today's performance standards, the Jalpa is sort of slow.
The Ferrari Testarossa still looks kinda of cool except for that stupid driver side mirror that stuck out almost a block from the car. More amazing is how huge the portable phones (in the Testarossa) were back in the mid-1980's! He has to go into the car to answer the phone! There was another episode where the Testarossa was in pursuit of the Porsche slant nose. I actually saw a Porsche 911 slant nose Turbo last night! It was like 1987 all over again!!! Anyone else watch Miami Vice last weekend?

Yep I saw some of the episodes.I myself have taped every episode on yes old azz vhs tape,but have them all.I have all the sound tracks and so forth related to the show.Jan hammer released a two cds last yr that covers pretty much all the music by him done on the show.I love miami vice and have season one on dvd now,season two is suppose to be out some time this december.I am so oldschool but,the show was really good.
