This might be a million years old but I searched and didn't see anything but here is a pic that was posted on the Iowa J-body site of a '87 CRX with a quad 4 in it. http://www.jboi.org/messageboard/viewtopic.php?t=1547

Alright here I come to the rescue, did a little more research as this is my all time dream track-slut-

87 CRX HF:

27mm Mugen Torsion bars
Tokico Illuminas all around
6 pt. autopower bolt-in cage
Quad 4 motor from a 91 Grand Am
Complete Grand Am wiring harness
Grand Am gauges and light switch
3 speed auto with Trans Star shift kit
Racing seat (unsure of brand) with expired harness
Battery relocated to back with custom box and kill switch
Straight pipe to cherry bomb exhaust
custom header
Interior gutted
Custom Strut bar with camber adjustment
Eibach springs in rear (to be replaced with GC coilovers)
ST rear sway bar

Honda chassis + Gm Engine= New breed of Hybrids. Next will be a crx with a 2.4 eco in it, and if they do manage that I'll take one!

New sig in the works

Wow.. that engine sits pretty far forward and to the left. As kinda neat as this is the balance would be thrown pretty far off with the engine where it is.

I also don't see the point of using a LO Quad4 if it where an HO quad4 or a W41 it'd make more sense but there are plenty of engines that'd go in a lot easier and make close to the same power (and yes even close to the same torque).

An LSX is a completely different matter.
