Well guys im considering buying a 2003 Dodge Neon SRT-4..and was wondering if any of you can give me any information i should know about it..
it has 23k miles still under warranty,. i was wondering if anyone here that owns one, has had any problems with theres?

anyway seriously i dont know. i havent heard really any problems w/ them at all. only thing my buddy tells me is at his work kids always come back because of the upgraded turbo and they blow the motor.
Save up for the Saleen Focus if possible. If not tho, get a Subaru Impreza. Seriously

I like them a guy in my car club has one and he has it running 12s, I would look into an 04+ if I were you since they have an LSD standard.

it is at a Subaru dealership...and it already has Borla Exhaust and a Blow Off Valve installed...
I like how it drives, and rides, definately a lot of fun with it, just didnt like the shifter...

I wouldn't buy an 03, because it has no lsd. The 04+ do and they have a little more power. One of my friends just bought a 04 with 20000 miles on it for $17,000, don't pay $15 for an 03 with more miles. His has the kicker sound system and all.

First off, don't listen to the Neon haters and forget about the "It's still a neon" comments. Jealousy is a terrible thing. I have an 04' and this car is the best car I have ever owned. I have had no problems to date and I have just over 20K on the car. I would look at an 04 or newer because of the LSD and a bit more power, but there is nothing wrong with the 03's. I think you should be able to get the 03 for less than 15K, but the bottom line is if you really like the car buy it. I love mine. One word of caution thou. If you buy an SRT-4 respect the car. The car is very fast and can get away from you in a hurry if you are not careful. I met a guy at the Shelby Dodge Nationals last summer that was killed just a couple of weeks back in his SRT.

I would say you can talk them down. Id go with a 04 like everyone else has said. 230 hp and LSD also with a 04 that gives u the option for a sunroof...

15,500 for a 03 is a bit pricey but I guess it all goes by your area the 03s are selling here for around 14,300 - 15000
