Poor cars indeed. And the owner doesn't even like cars. He should be shot.

Re: Poor Cars

Wow, why do I feel like I should fly over there and steal them all, then make a killing selling them on eBay?

That's soooo sad. If it was just a bunch of econocars, cheap cars, etc, who would care? But so many people want Corvettes (my dad spent about four months looking before he found his), they're such a piece of history, and it's such a waste, that it's unbelievable they're still there like that.

And honestly, I really do wonder why none of them have been boosted.

Cut and paste them, it's worth the effort.

definately worth the cut and paste effort. It's sad and makes me want to cry. Beautiful cars being neglected.

dude thats not even right. this peter max guy is no car enthusiest at all. he should be shoved in a room to rot like he did to these cars!

Re: Poor Cars

He will burn in hell for all eternity for the suffering of those poor cars. He could get at least half a million if he sold them as-is. If he washed them and made sure they ran, I'm not even going to guess what he could make.

Re: Poor Cars

it saddens me to see that, but i do agree with the one guy who wrote -

"Don Sherman, an editor at Automobile magazine, who hasn’t seen the cars, thinks that Max got himself a pretty good deal; Vettes before ’68 are highly sought-after. (In fact, only 300 of the ’53s were ever made.) “Just the ones from ’53 to ’68 are probably worth a million and a half,” he says. And he dismisses the dust and scratches as “surface stuff, mostly irrelevant to a collector.”
Told of Max’s plan for them, though, he says, “From a car enthusiast’s standpoint, they’re worth more in their deteriorated condition than if they were painted by Peter Max.”

these vettes are better off laying dormant until that @!#$ing peter max f@g dies so they can be auctioned to people who will love them like a classic car deserves to be. look at those gay color patterns taped to the sides! WTF??? my father and i are Vette nuts so this ish really gets under my skin.

That's just not right..

Re: Poor Cars

Seeing any car from the 50's in a state like that makes me sad.
The whole thing is insane. I'm sure if Jay Leno found this he'd hunt down the owner.

How many steps to heaven, Doc?

I think I might have heard of the Guy that owns the cars, although personally I think the Corvettes are far better Artwork than anything he's done.....They deffinately need to be cleaned up and let go to collectors...

They guy is actually very smart. And the cars are not poor, but perfect. Give it years, and when that guy washes off each one, and fires up everyone with there orignal spark plugs and orignal everything he'll be happy, He'll take those to the auction and get close to million for a couple of them and over 100g's for everyother one. You say poor cars, I say codus to a collector.

thats the thing though, hes not a collector, hes some artist fag, i mean, look at the way he painted that bug, if i saw a classic vette painted like that, i would deff stop and make sure that guy knew i called him a fag, hell i might even throw something at him if he wasnt near the car.

Sigga what?
