Burn on the RSX, what was up with the first run though? Seems like the Exhaust helps the RSX out too. Dunno, heavier car with more power, and a little bit lighter car with no torque, exactly what i was expecting.
wow, i surprized the ss won those races from a roll.mmmm torque unike those furrrriners. lol
maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow....... but some day
Nice vid, thanks for posting. That RSX-S definitely got walked hard, even with an exhaust.
Not to mention the Acura sounded like a bumblebee stuck in a tin can

I wouldn't mess with a pissed off bumble. Those things will ram the stinger into you and rip their guts out leaving it there to continue to pump venom.

That's pretty hardcore.
I now rate the bumblebee the "gangsta" insect.
They cap yo ass then pump you...... even when dey dead!!!!!!!!
Yea, the SS must have missed a shift or something first run. The Sentra SE-R didn't seem to have any problems keeping up with them. I wonder if it was just an SE-R or SE-R Spec V
Personally i'd still have to take the RSX-S. Its a bit slower but its naturally aspirated. And it responds to mods insanely well.
im glad i got to see the two race cus i cant find a SScobalt around here but i already knew i could beat a RSx-S so this gives me hope when i meet a cobalt
FACT : Statistics show that you are more likely to to be hit by lightning than to die street racing.

Are you kidding? 1/2 -1 car can hardly be considered "walked hard". Actaully pretty pathetic when you think a boosted 4 cyl car vs. a N/A 4 cyl car with just about the same displacement. Throw any hondata on the RSX and youll see what "walked hard" really means..lol.
1st race: RSX (Even the Camera guys passed the cobalt)
2nd race: Even
3rd race: Coablt inching ever so slowly
4th race: Even
Impressive for the Acura since it is N/A and more so being a 2004 and under model. The 05s have a higher top end now and shorter gearing where I think if the same drivers were being used and it was a 05-06 RSX, the RSX would win them all.
(Brew-San any input on this?)
Funny quote too.

in all races but the first, the cobalt's rear tires were at LEAST even with the front's of the rsx. even in the last one when you can hear the rsx downshift first...
you're talking a 200 hp car versus a 205 hp car (factory crank numbers)... you're also looking at an rsx that has an exhaust and weighs a few hundred pounds less than the cobalt. i'd say not bad for the cobalt at all... now let's see what the results would be with similar mods.
lash... how much does the hondata system cost? now what happens if you put that money into the ss?
Hondata Pricing for an RSX......
K-Series ECU Upgrades Unit Price
K20 Reflash (RSX, RSX-S, RSX Type R, Civic SI) $595
K100 (RSX, RSX-S, RSX Type R, Civic SI) $595
K-Pro (RSX, RSX-S, RSX Type R, Civic SI) $995
Walked hard.....ummmm ok?! I must have watched another vid?!
Ya i didnt see the 'walked hard' part. musta watched a diff video.

The 05 and up are defintiley quicker.. they've got Type R cams (giving them a bit more top end) and a shorter final drive. The races looked close enough that an 05+ probably would've made the difference.
any chance the RSX may have been auto trans even?

Dude in the SS needs to learn to drive...and they all need to learn to do it on a road with no traffic...
