Well it was about time i got a new daily since I've been driving the family 97 Cav Sedan. Its got some issues and smells of gas since the injectors keep going out so I found a good deal on something.
Old car:
And the new car, 98 Firebird 3.8 V6. I guess I have to grow a mullet now or something. I'm probably going to get dual exhaust and an intake or something but not much. Just going to keep it mostly stock, I gotta spend my money on the fairlane.

I raced a buddy with one of those (Auto) in my Eco 5-speed and killed him. Pep, not really.
Nice color non-the-less.

I dont ever consider those split things dual exhaust, and yeah we dont get much cold weather here. Lowest we get is maybe 30, and everybody gets scared because that can kill the citrus crops.
Also people, I'm not acting like this car is fast, as I said its a daily driver. Plus I hanvt seen any plus I like the little features on this thing like radio controls on the wheel and the whole RWD thing.

Best exhaust setup it to run a 3" from the y pipe into a single in dual out muffler. Running true duals(especially on ur v6) has no benefit over the single 3".
I really like the look of those style Firebirds. Yeah, it's a shame it's not the V8, but with gas prices this way and your previous car a Cavalier, I'm sure it'll be plenty quick enough.

Good point.

I'd love to get the LS1 model but I already have a car with a V8 and gotta spend my money on that one. I also know I couldnt afford a Formula or Trans Am right now.
I've owned 2 Cavaliers and I really love driving this thing. Its not that bad on gas either but I always say if you cant afford to pay the gas, get a different car.

MMM chameleon green.... Right?
Looks bad ass man, you will have fun with that thing. I was looking at at one in 2001-2, but toooo pricey for me at the time.
Goodluck!
BTW... Pontiac rules!!!

My dad just sold our '98 Firebird that looked exactly like that one minus the t-tops. Is it the 5 speed? The 3800 has some pep but with the 5 speed you seem to feel it more (as compared to my step-mom's auto 2002 V6 Camaro).
