I found a dealer with a 2003 celica gts 6spd that they are selling as new?! Has anyone ever heard of this, selling a 3 year old car as new even if it is a leftover.
They are asking 25 grand for it to, how much of a rip off is that?
Anyone see this as a chance to make a great deal?

UH.....yeah. Its new if it doesnt have any miles on it, never sold, never registered, titled, etc.
Yeah there was a 2002 indigo blue/2200/sunroom/monsoon sunfire coupe at the dealership I used to work at. It sat there until late last year when it FINALLY sold for $10,000. Marked down from $16,000. I guess they decided to just get rid of it.
So, yeah. They can do that. You can probably haggle the price if you can find any signs of age on it. Maybe some slighly faded paint, dusty interior, underinflated tires, etc. Just treat it like they would a trade in. Nitpick it until they budge on the price.

It's rare but it can happen. I remember a Pontiac dealership in Moncks Corner (Dick Smith I believe) had a 2003 Bonneville (GTP or GXP, not sure on the letters) that they had a hard time seling, last time I checked their site, it was still for sale around $29,000

I ain't callin u a gold digga,but you ain't messin wit a broke cracka
I know that the subaru dealer that i worked at, we had 03,04, and 05 Subaru Baja's and impreza'a, so they are possible to find, and as far as 25,000, they should want to move that thing as soon as possible, and at that price i can see why it is still there. Should be more like 15,000, not 25,000.
I am what I am and it is what it is.
I am the 2nd most untrusted person in the world next to a lawyer, welcome to our dealership, may I help you?
