my cousin's project
Monday, November 28, 2005 1:05 AM
my cousin Dan has been working on a Cobra kit car for about a year now... i finally got to see it over thanksgiving and it's really impressive to see all the work he's put into it in the last year.

he's still got quite a bit of work to do with wiring, modifications, interior, etc... im sure you can see from the pics. it was kinda hard to get pics in the garage cause i couldn't really back up to get a good shot, but you get the idea. he's estimating about 300 hp from the engine (pretty well modded), and the weight of the car should be around 2200 lbs. i can't wait to get a ride in it when it's done.

That's pretty hot. Is it a Factory Five kit or another make? I'd like to do a Daytona Coupe kit someday.

there is a guy who ownes a red one up the street from me and those cars are sweet. I love the look of it, especilally that huge open front end, makes the car look aggresive and mean. I am not sure if it a replica or not, I don't know alot about those cars excpet that they are crazy fast. Love the car and the silver and graphite will look killer. Best of luck on finishing.
