I know I have been asking for alot of info on cars lately but thats because I am looking at getting something different. Whatever anybody knows about Lincoln LSs would be greatly appreciated and helpful. Like performance numbers would b nice but not needed. but what I really wanna know is how they handle and about how long they last like milage wise...and what kinda stuff goes wrong with them

Some guy in a V-8 version had no problem showing me his taillights accelerating up the on ramp to the interstate. I had the Cavalier floored, but he simply pulled away. Of course, it was an apples to oranges comparison, but no doubt the Lincoln LS is fast. I recall the 14 mile times for the V-8 are in the upper 14 second range.

No, they went up to like 280hp or something close to that for the V-8 a couple of years ago in the Lincoln LS. I'll have to look it up in a back issue of Road and Track. I think the V-6 version is in the neighborhood of 250hp though. The car weighs like 3,800+lbs, but it sure accelerated in a hurry!

They are sweet ass cars. The V8 is what we have at work and man that is a fun car. Suspension is nice, Stomping on the gas from a stop there is a slight delay but then picks up quickly! Interior is alright except for there not being too much leg room in the back seats. Heated AND A/C seats which is really nice. Not much room in the trunk though but not tiny either. If I were you I'd go for it.
I guess I forgot to mention that I was looking at a 2001-2002 modle which has the 252hp 3.9L V8
