I was talking to a friend of mine at work and was told that Ford Probe GT is what he termed a "chick" car. I sort of recall Ford had surveyed women on the styling of that car, but I had never heard the term "chick" car. Ford Probe Gt's are kinda of cool looking, although I dont care for the name "Probe". The name Satellite might have been better. I see alot of women driving Ford Probes. I see alot of women driving Cavaliers, but then I am sure alot of guys do to (including me). What the heck qualifies as a "chick" car anyway?

VW Bugs
VW Cabrios
Honda CRV
I'd consider the base and se models of the probe to be the chick cars. a gt with a 5spd is a pretty nice ride. one of my best friends has 2 2nd gen PGT MTX, one is a beater and the other one is to fix up.
its pretty much they way people think about cavaliers and sunfires, they say they are chick cars. oh well i'm a chick, so i guess it wouldn't matter for me.

A sunfire a chick car I mean i own one it seems ugly to be a chick car, as a example on my block there is a lady with with a old accord. My friends sister has TSX. And at the school I work at One owns a Saab(new) another lady owns a camary. women are Brand name buyers so they would buy imports.
as a side note if your probe had a bottle you could take your "chick Car" and massacre a few imports and yes i know the car is mazda built

Those are some of the dumbest comments I've ever seen.. Chicks only buy imports? I know a few chicks who drive j-bodies, neon's, and mustangs (v8 ones even)..

No way. The only thing that makes something a "chick" car is if an astounding majority of owners are actually women, it is marketed directly towards them, or it is pink. Otherwise its neutral.
