Sorry, wouldn't pay the extra $$$ for something that looks...like a civic.
What is the price?
And is there a coupe version?

Not that bad looking, I really like the headlights on it.
Have a good one,
Justin
This is essentially replacing the Acura EL (acura branded civic) that we've had here in Canada.
What is somewhat interesting is that they are using the K20A3 (Base RSX motor or a variation of) in it instead of the new R18A engine that is going in the base civics.
Also, I don't think there has ever been an EL coupe, so I highly doubt that there is gonna be a CSX coupe.

I think that's the way it should be (use the 2.0L). It give you at least something to offset the weight of all those options. You don't want to spend more on an acura only to be slower than a civic.
Yeah, caving a coupe would probably take away from rsx sales.

I agree that's the way it should be but that isn't the way it's been in the past. The EL has always just had more or less the base civic engine while the top trim civic had something better. Civic SIR (B16A\K20A3) > EL(D17\D17) and that is still true.. with the up coming SI (Checking honda.ca it looks like our Civic trims might finally matching those of our friends to the south, ie. no more CAD SI = US EX, etc)
that's how the new U.S. Civic sedan SHOULD look like....at the very least they should give us the tail lights, because IMO the only thing that kills the new Civic sedan is the tail lights.

the engine is used in Asia I bet because we have 2.0 accords and 2.0 CRVs back in Taiwan. But yeah, it look like the Accord with a smaller engine, that's all. Like how the TSX and Accord being same.
i like the head lights lol
the front is not as wierd and ugly as the civic. I don't think it's as agressive looking as the present EL.
As for pricing we have been told, at my dealership, between $26 000 - $32 000 CDN, but that's not set in stone. Which is alot more then the present one.
i honestly don't like the new civics at all, they kinda look like a toyota prirus from the side
this is a lil better, the rear isnt to bad
people complained that the new civic front end looked like the ion. the headlights on this look even more like the ion

At least it won't run and drive like an ION... Thank god...

Ummm.. the Accord and the TSX are not the same car .. the european accord and the TSX are essentially the same car but the european accord is NOTHING like our accord.
yeah how is that like the neon to srt-4
at least that will go fast
other cars, better cars?
then
its like a chevrolet to a caddy
other cars, better cars?
Alot of people don't make the connection between Honda and Acura, and have no idea that the EL is a fancy Civic.
