Umm... A Magnum with a 300C Front End is an actual production car in Europe and I believe Canada as well.

I love how they actually pay attention to the engine on overhaulin'. But they should not put those huge ass rims on the muscle cars like they usually do.

i really liked the first episode that they had where the did the kid/ volunteer fireman's truck. i dont get into it as much as i did before... i think it would be cooler to see them do some average cars for once.

One episode that I really loved was when they did the 2005 Mustang. That supercharger that they put on it ... so hot!!

Ohh, and does anybody else feel that the chick from the 1st season she be rehired. That new chick doesnt do anything.

Some of those episodes can be tearjerkers sometimes. I love watching the show when I get the chance to.

You get the feeling that the people truley and genuinely appreciate the work that has been put into the vehicles. Especially for the people whose cars use to belong to a late sibling.

Have a good one,
Justin

I agree that the new girl on the show sucks bad and that if they have a girl it should be the one that they had before.

Love Overhaulin. They arent like Pimp My Ride. They do actual work! Not just slap on a kit, paint and some useless accessories (like TVs in the bumpers, or on the roof!) but they actually tear down the car to the bare frame and start almost from scratch!

I love seeing what Chip can do to a car, but the only thing I dont like is that he slaps Foose logos all over. I mean, its understandable, he puts a fortune into these things, and certainly he deserves a little free advertisement, but sometimes it is overdone...

Rides I like, because I love seeing what I will never be able to own!

I watch this show whenever I can. They do awesome work. Its flashy, but doesn't look overdone. Plus they actually do frame and engines work to make sure the car will actually last.

I remember watching an episode of Pimp my Ride where they did this guy's CRX. The car DIED going into the shop and sounded horrible. So they do a bodykit, audio, uber insane paintjob, etc. They put probably $10,000 into this car for looks alone. Then on the engine, they redid the air intake. Wow. Probably less then a $1000 on the engine. So it'll be fun to watch this guy hotrodding his car, only for the engine to just die out of nowhere, lol.

I never did see the Civic they did on Overhaulin. Damn

The civic was bad ass. Who else on the org would like to see foose design a cavalier. now that would be cool.

It wouldnt be any fun if it was easy.

The Cavalier isn't worthy.

However, the Civic was very clean and to my shock I loved the custom bodykit/spoiler he ended up doing, not to mention the motor was nicely beefed for a little n2o action.

that civic was beat all to hell. i personaly didnt care for it, i liked the kit but not the pink, blue, checkered and some other color stripes. one car i did love was the the fast back mustang they did for that guy that was paralized. i thought i would never say this but damn those huge dished wheels looked hot!!!

oh i dont like the new chick.

I agree, that was definitely one of the better episodes of Overhaulin doing the Magnum. Foose's attention to detail is just incredible. The crew they use on the show are incredible in that while they are rushing the project along, you know that it will be as good as if they spent 3 years on the project. You can see that the fit and finish is just astounding. I find even further amazing that Foose used to work for Boyd Coddington! Boyd Coddington comes off as such a jerk on the show American Hot Rod, I'd never work for Boyd. If I was a customer and saw the crap that goes on in his shop, I'd cancel my order in a minute! Maybe that is why Foose set out on his own. I saw a Boyd Coddington Mustang at a car show about a year ago. Nice looking custom look, but at the same time, I didnt think was that great. The supercharged Roush Mustang parked near it looked meaner and worth every penny of its big price tag.
