I posted a while ago bout getting my Silver 85 Fiero which turned out to be more work than I wanted and I just got back from a 12 hour trip to get my new fiero home.
I traded my Silver Gt and my Parts car for this
And the best part....
3.8L V6 with the Isuzi 5spd tranny, has a lot of power. Most of the people with this swap are running low 14s....
(Excuse the 'Bad Boy' Decal its ugly as hell but thats how the car came lol)
looks like a truck suspension
nice find tho
other cars, better cars?
wow yup looks alot like my old 3.0 V6 that was in my 86 grand am

Haha thats something every stock fiero has.
I saved some parts off my parts car, including the lowering suspension parts.
That is a sleeper car for sure. If I saw it sitting in a parking lot, I would assume it had the old 2.5 litre "Iron Duke", never guessing it has less Iron and more vitamin "H"(horsepower)! I've seen modified Fieros(made to look like Ferraris) with Buick GN turbo engines before, but to leave a Fiero looking stock and sticking a bigger engine in it is pretty cool. Good find.

Yeah thanks, my plans are to convert it as much to a GT, the front/rear bumpers, and spoiler.
Its really nice after looking behind some stuff I found that the frame has been completely reinforced and redone. Its just the interior that needs work, and some other misc. stuff
im pondering picking one up for a dd for a while
until I get a 2.4 eco to put in it w/ a side of turbo

Anyone else own a fiero??? I got some questions that aren't being ansewered on other forums, maybe i could get them here
yeah i gots a fiero, dont know a ton about em yet, still learnin, but what you need to know, i might be of some assitance.
Since mine is a base coupe it has almost no options. I got a trunk popper switch and the wiring in the dash is there for it, but i cannot find the wire coming from the harness to the decklid. It doesnt help I have the new engine in it and 2x as much wiring, i just need to know the color of the wire
I had a fiero...... and my dad has a 88 Formula..... he plans on dropping in a 3400 and turboing it....

I love that fiero. looks good
I've wanted a Fiero for years, but no space to put it. When I get another house in a couple years or so, I want to find one with more garage space to store it and work on it.
While the dash wiring for the remote trunk release is there, the wiring running from the solenoid across the deck lid to the firewall isn't. It's a single wire in conduit, and I believe it's green. You'll have to find a wrecked one, as you'll need the wiring connector for the solenoid as well.
My decklid is off my old Silver GT, it has the wiring for it on the decklid, where would I locate the wire off the firewall???
