I drove my girlfriends jeep today cause she said it was acting weird. When you drive normal like accelerate at a normal speed it sound like it is winding out and not shifiting but the tach isnt going high. Also it only does it when the car just starts. Once you get things warmed up it works fine..And when you punch the gas it doesnt do it..Any ideas?
Also shes trying to sell her grand am but she wants to fix a couple problems..
One is the gas gauge. It dies at like 3 or 4 bars left. The other is the turn signals. They dont work half the time. You have to press and hold the E flashers till they come on and then the turn signals work. And no its not a recall
thanks
check the tranny fluid in the jeep
was it ever changed?
other cars, better cars?
thats weird...lol i was just doing some research and it said, low fluid was a symptom of both problems, the slippage and the buzzing sound under acceleration. Ill have them check on monday. The dealership are pretty good with there used cars
What year Grand Am??
My 2001 GT had the
exact same problem and it was covered under a recall.

What engine does the Grand Cherokee have, there's a common problem found on the Durangos with the 45RFE tranny mated to the 287 V-8.
Yella02-I promise I will return to you in one piece and this will stay up until I am safely home
4.0 Inline 6. The standard engine on the Larado.
Never mind, it isn't going to effect that tranny.
