Whats up guys just wonderin what you guys would think about a 95 neon coupe, with a complete srt swap in it, just picked it up today. Guy said as is his best time with it is a 12.2. I will have pics posted up maybe tomorrow or the next day! gotta work on my cavalier tomorrow! tranny pan leakin

But the car is really a work of art, they guy that did it rolled is 04 srt, and basically swapped every part he could think of into this first gen. motor, tranny, steering wheel, shifter, pedals, center console, sets front and back, gauge cluster, wheels, suspension, brakes! from what i can think off of the top of my head! Might talk to him and get him to do the gtp swap! might be nice to have 2 12 sec daily drivers haha. input welcome RICHARD

As long as there was some suspension/body work (ie more than just a cup kit, and hopefully at least a B pillar brace), I'd say go for it... even though I bloody abhore Neons.

haha yeah the car is pretty damn powerful! needs an alignment pretty bad because when you get on it in 2nd it pulls mad to the right. third and fourth are bad ass though. i got a couple pics on a cardomain site im gonna post the lnk too i will get more soon too! still got the good ole cavy too. she still treatin me right! wouldnt mind havin this guy swap that 3.8gtp engine in there for me either thanks later RICHARD

as for how much i payed 3k for it. The guy that sold it said he knew he could part out the car for more money but didnt want to go through the hasel. To much work and stuff!
As far as for the torque steer it might be??, but the alignment is off bad I know that for sure. See he put the 2nd gen struts and stuff on the car and the coilovers the top mount for the strut dont fit all the way into the cap so the springs dont rotate freely and bind up! So i dont think that an alignment would do much good on the car! I have told the guy i dont know how many times that the car is a work of art! Its just absolutely amazin that he was able to do it all himself and wired everything up!
As for the color i know that has to go! I now have two cars that need paint! I am not sure as to what color im gonna paint it but i would not mind it bein the same color as my cavalier! but the car is just crazy crazy fast, I think i can understand how raven feels with that gtp engine in his car. its just to damn fast to be a daily driver, get yourself into way to much trouble! but its a fun weekend car and its only gonna get faster. Raced a bmw m3 today probably about a 02 or something. and ran third gear about and put about 5 car lengths on him! its just SICK! will have to get some videos up of it so everyone can see for themselves or meet up with people that are close to the coast! live in mississippi here! let me know RICHARD

Heres my opinion and suggestions.
I like it becasue its fast, but hate it cause its not finished. The price was awsome! and I think that the work that went into it was amazing and really I probably would have jumped on it as well.
As far as the looks go. Id keep the color, but paint it all purple, get some liek 01 4door wheels. They were nice and actually suited the car. Lower it, and get rid of that back bumper for one without holes!
And keep making it faster and faster!

The thing about the car is, the fact that it has the srt brakes and stuff on it. I cant put the onstock 14's 0n there. Otherwise i already would have. I have another neon that got flooded in catrina that has those rims. Thats what i want to go for is the sleeper look and then just demolish things in a race. It already does a damn good job, but my goal is to get it mid 11's daily and a possible 10 on slicks! We will see what happens with the time. Thanks for the input guys and anymore is welcome too
Butt ugly car, but kick ass performance. I would definitely drive that around for a sleeper. Nice pick up man.

try to find a set of volkswagen 16" steel wheels, i think they have a 5x100 bolt pattern. that would disguise your car very well
