well ive been thiking for awhile on either a new car or keeping mine, getting the motor built and then a turbo...... but, so many new cars coming out that i actually like what you guys think....
2006 Eclipse GT
2005 Cobalt SS supercharged
2003 Mustang GT
2004 SRT-4
2003 Mazda 3 GT
2002 Acura RSX Type-S
2002 Celica GTS
personally im pulling towards the 06 Eclipse, but a turbo on mine would make quite the sleeper!
Cobalt SS or Mustang GT Cobalt if you like 4 bangers and Mustang if you like the sound of an American V8 personally I would go with the Mustang because I like power from all motor. I dont like Superchargers or turbos.

Wouldn't be a bad idea.
Out of that list, I would say SRT-4 or Cobalt if you are looking for boosted 4 cylinder application, or the Mustang if you want a good sounding semi-powerful pony car.

Some blinker fluid and a couple muffler bearings.

I didn't know this was an option. I agree get a f-body ls1. You will love it. Trust me.
2003 mustang gt???
ehh no,....
What I quite don't get though is the extremely broad price range?? a brand new eclipse or a 4 year old car celica for example? That list is wide open.
yeah, if i get something a few years older , i can put some money into it, but if i buy a new car then i want something that i`ll be happy with as is!
I would go for the Cobalt SS. Maybe its not as fast as some of the other cars listed, but it definitely blows away the 2.2 ohv.
The next runner up in my book would be the RSX Type-S, but I'd still take the Cobalt.

2007 G85 SS S/C: 10/23/2006--Present

Eclipse GT... 260hp, 3472 Lbs, 18 city 27 highway. But "car and driver" said they averaged about 14. Either way the car is a still a pig, @!#$ it.
In Canada, a rear wheel drive may not be much good for you. Go for the RSX, its the nicest "car" on the list
rebuild and Turbo the J or get the Cobalt
if it ain't broke...MAKE IT GO FASTER
2006 eclipse gt is the same prcie as an 05 stang gt
why the 03 stang?
other cars, better cars?
rsx......best quality...resale value.....overall best looking. not as many horses as whats on your list, but definately would think in the long haul would be worth it.
ClassGlass / RkSport / Eibach / Motegi / Ractive / Borla / K&N
Between a new car and turboing your sunfire.. I'd say get a new car..
You could turbo your car but you'd still probably be slower than most of the cars on your list..
I gotta agree with a couple of the others in that I don't understand your list the price range is all over the place. You've got some used cars and some new cars.. we've got no idea for what reason you want the new car for.. What something fast? Something that can handle? a FWD? a RWD? you gonna mod it? mildly? wildlly? Figure out what you want to do with the car and then maybe someone can help you choose a car.
SRT-4 but I've been tainted.

ive seem some cheap used rsx-s cars
aka not a good resale value
other cars, better cars?
whats w/ "car" in quotation marks?
other cars, better cars?
From your list and in order I would suggest...
1.2003 Mustang GT
2.2002 Acura RSX Type-S (tie)
2.2006 Eclipse GT (tie)
3.2004 SRT-4
4.2002 Celica GTS

car is in parentesis because for an overall "CAR:, its the best value
Most people on this site feel that a car is only a nice car if its doing 10 second quarters.
Being that you live in canada, here is my opinion. Keep in mind I also live in wintery conditions...
1. 2002 Acura RSX Type-S... reliability, pretty nice interior, gas mileage, good price.
2. 2003 Mazda 3 GT... same reasons as RSX, but I like honda better
3. 2005 Cobalt SS supercharged/2004 SRT-4... out of these two I'd just go with whatever one I could get cheaper and lower miles.
4. 2002 Celica GTS... not big toyota fan, but FWD and good price.
5. 2003 Mustang GT... RWD, @!#$ty in the snow, this is the end of MY list. But depending on your budget and I see you have another car, this could be bumped to the top seeing as how your current car could be your winter car.
6. 2006 Eclipse GT... this car is a joke.

1.2006 Eclipse GT (tie)
2.2003 Mazda 3 GT
3.2002 Celica GTS
4.2004 SRT-4
5.2003 Mustang GT
