My new toy (pics)
Tuesday, October 18, 2005 12:27 PM
My neighbor was selling it as she is now a widow and can not drive the car. She sold it to me at such a good price, I had to jump on it. I want to sell it later on as this car is used and well I don't like buying used, but the reason I jumped on it is because I will make a nice sizable profit on it when I do sell it.

Here is the kicker, my insurance is only $80 more then my GT S/F.

Well I'll let the pictures do the talking on what I got.

Actually... .
Trade-in $34.7K
Private $38K
Retail $43K

She initially selling it for $30K and well... That was the final price. Don't forget I had to add the tax and tag too. So the final was a little over $30K. Not bad don't you think?

You're going to sell this car and keep the SF GT?? You retarded?? hehe j/k. The Corvette hardly has any miles on it, I would barely call it used.. I'd sell the crapfire, and use the money for mods on this car.. Maybe that's just me though.

HOLY $#@^#. Good score. I agree with Borsty. If I had a Z06, there is no way I would get rid of it unless I was getting a new Z06. I'd definatley be autocrossing the piss out of that car.

Beautiful car. Dont sell it, make sweet love to it

Re: My new toy (pics)

Deffenatly dont sell it. I can guarntee you will like that car a hole lot more than anything you've ever own. my dad 3of my uncles and my cousin all have a C5 and they use my Cavalier for making fun of. a set of Blly Boat cat back exhaust and/or a header will help you make the descision on keeping it. Eigther way good luck with what you do and $28 is a pretty good price for a Z06 but you can get a 2000 C5 coupe for $24.

by the way if you want more onfo on your Z06 you can go to Corvetteforum.com and click on the C5 Z06 link.

Yeah, but a 2003 Z06 with only 16,800 miles is a steal for 28K.
